Macrame Arbor, Rugs, and Rottie Dog of Honor :: Heather + Jake Boho Cabin Elopement

Heather and Jake are two peas in a pod. They didn’t want a huge to-do, they wanted to be surrounded by their closest friends and family, at a place that meant a lot to them - Jake’s family cabin on a lake, or as everyone jokingly call it, “the Proper-T”. It was a totally chill atmosphere as Jake put a nail in a tree for me to hang the dress on in the perfect spot by a pile of logs, and they got ready together at the Cottage. Apollo (their Rottie) kept a watchful eye on his mamma and even got to wear a eucalyptus wreath as the dog of honor. There were sweat tears and one of my favorite moments was when Jake picked Heather up right as they walked down the isle as husband and wife! Totally unexpected, and I’m so glad I caught it! In her gorgeous Reclamation vintage lace dress, ringlets of long red hair, and a boho bouquet by Nalia’s Floral, Heather looked like a forest fairy. We shot some sweet photos of these two right after all the after-ceremony hugs commenced, and I drove off smiling, leaving everyone to their tents, bonfires, and family cabin time. What a good day! Thanks for having me :) — love, Ester

PS. Their macrame arbor… Also one of my absolute favorite things!! Obsessed with macrame!
