Maple Ridge Farm Boho Wedding :: Andrea + Ryan
This day was pure magic. Everything from start to finish. Let me tell you a bit about it...
The cat incessantly kept walking through the details I painstakingly tried to arrange to be even… I tried to get him inside the house and out of my hair. Screaming followed. Apparently that's a barn cat, not an indoor cat. Ooops. ;) Back to the point, though. We couldn't have wished for better weather, most amazing farm views, or more upbeat and happy moods. Andrea got ready at their hundred year old farmhouse in Taylors Falls MN (complete with a barn!), and this place... could have basically made the most fantastic bridal suite! Score when you live in a house that would make a wedding venue blush! ;) We actually did both first looks (with dad as well) at the farm! I’m giddy just writing about this it was so much fun!!! And that’s just the getting ready part!
Can I gush over the details please?? Andrea really put some love into personalizing everything. Everything from table decor to the dessert table setup left me (and everyone around) drooling and speechless. And, what a fun touch - the wild flower seeds as favors?!! Absolutely adored it! (those were hand packaged by the bride). If you're looking for some inspiration for a bohemian style farm (or barn) wedding (whether it's here in Minnesota, Florida, anywhere really since this stuff is really timeless), check out some of the fun reel below!
I might also add a note about the dress - not just one but two of my brides have now worn this flowy, lacey gown from The Wedding Shoppe (on Grand Ave), and it is probably one of my favorite dresses ever made! It photographs like a dream, and wears equally well! Like, I’m told you can actually breathe and bend over and dance and do ALL the things! Check it out if you’re on the hunt for something gorgeous and timeless!
Anyway, back to this wedding — Thanks for having me guys, it was such a pleasure working with you two! Congrats to these Onstads on tying the knot! :) -- with love, Ester
PS. Thanks to my sidekick Taylor for tackling this awesome day with me! The groom getting ready and guys' wedding party photos are by her.
