One of my favorite weddings of the year (I do say that often) at one of my absolute favorite venues! Not to mention that this venue is on the way to my husband's family cabin in Crosslake, so NP Event Space weddings alway turn into a cabin weekend for me, which kinda sweetens the deal. I shoot 20+ weddings per year so getting to squeeze in some R&R for myself is always a bonus since I work most warm weekends each year.
Back to the festivities... This wedding, the details, the dress, the unique setting, the love and sweetness! I frankly loved it all! Emma and Jeremy picked the NP because it was the one venue that could accommodate their larger family gathering, and since most people were coming out of town or out of state, being right in Minneapolis wasn't a big priority. Brainerd suited them just as well. Emma put lots of thought into the setup, and the DIY decor of the venue was frankly breathtaking, complete with hand-gathered antlers! The boho (almost gypsy) flavor combined with the industrial vibe of the venue fit like a glove! And, did I mention the amazing getting ready spaces? For the girls, the bridal suite had basically magical light for photography. For the guys, you absolutely cannot go cooler than a brewery! I basically melted the entire day! Emma and Jeremy weren't much for some of the old wedding traditions, so donuts with amazing flavorings and topics replaced the cake cutting. My 2nd shooter (Nicole) was in heaven over that one. Donuts get her vote! ;) We got sprinkled upon (translation - kinda got poured on) during the wedding party photos, but that just added more spring into Emma's naturally coil-y curly hair, so we were cool with it! We partied into the night, after which I drove off to my lake cabin. What's not to like. Amazing day! Amazing weekend!! :) Thanks for having me darlings! - Ester
PS. The awesome guys and guys getting ready shots by my 2nd shooter Nicole :)
