Boy did we get lucky with the weather?! I mean, there are not many January weddings where it's so warm everyone wants to stay outside! And... speaking of lucky, the day might have involved winning a meat raffle. Kid you not! Only in Minnesota LOL! :)

We started out getting ready at the Embassy Suites by Hilton nearby the Earl Brown Heritage Center (where Mark and Christen had their first look, family photos, and wedding party shenanigans commenced). The Ceremony took place at the Holy Family Catholic Church. Theodore Wirth park hosted some of our golden hour photos, and said meat raffle was won at a random bar I googled on the way. So, I guess I'm was part of the "luck" in this "lucky day".

About the day overall - Christen and Mark are some of the sweetest, kindest, and down to earth people. These two really belong together. Their passion for the outdoors, ball games, fishing, hunting and all kinds of easy going hobbies brought them together, and their wedding was just that - down to earth, filled with love and everyone happy to celebrated with them. Their crew up for anything, their family full of pride and support. It really was pleasure photographing these two, their love, and getting to know them better. Until we meet again, I'm told I'm getting invited back when some beautiful babies are born! ;) -- Ester

PS. Lovely side shots and groom getting ready shots by my 2nd shooter Joe :)
